Fans have been waiting for months to discover the mysterious true title of the Avengers Infinity War sequel.
Yesterday Marvel boss Kevin Feige was part of a Disney presentation at CineEurope in Barcelona showcasing clips from Avengers 4, Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
But was the Avengers 4 title finally revealed?
Well a new blurred photo doing the rounds online shows what appears to be a presenter on a stage with the title Avengers: Fallen Heroes behind him.
But can fans trust the image found on Instagram? Well on Tuesday another alleged leaker revealed what they claimed the initials of the sub-heading are.
Reddit user u/AnotherThing728 wrote: “My brother is a lighting engineer at the 2018 Expo this year and he told me that he was listening in on Disney’s presentation rehearsal and managed to hear what the Avengers 4 title is going to be.
“He would not tell me (no matter how much I begged him) because he didn’t want to get in trouble, but he did say the title was three words.
“The first word obviously being Avengers but apparently the second word being with F and third word beings with H – So Avengers: F… H…/“
This would certainly corroborate with the leaked photo, however the latter was uploaded with sufficient time to be aware of the Reddit post above. Also, it’s already 24 hours since the Disney presentation and there’s been no official announcement outside of this.
Assuming Feige had announced the Avengers 4 title, it’s very unlikely it wouldn’t have got out officially or unofficially.
And to add to this the leaked photo on Instagram claiming the title is Fallen Heroes is being widely discredited, including by those who have sources revealing what went down at the Disney presentation.
Comic Book suggested the film is called Avengers Forever, which apparently is the best guess of anything they’ve heard so far.
Joe Russo joked: “The actual title is The Avengers: Almost Forever.”
Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
