The royal family are in full garden party swing, with the Queen welcoming over 30,000 guests a year to relax in the private gardens of Buckingham Palace.
According to Royal.UK, at each garden party over 27,000 cups of tea, 20,000 sandwiches and 20,000 slices of cake are consumed.
In attendance at one of the Queen’s garden parties today was Camilla Duchess of Cornwall.
Along with her husband, the Prince of Wales and her sister-in-law, Princess Anne, 67, Camilla stepped out go the palace with a slightly sombre look on her face.
However, her powder-blue ensemble was glowing, with the Duchess opting for an elegant dress coat with pocket and shoulder detailing.
The pastel-toned coat was pleated from the waist down, held together by two delicate hook-and-eye closures just above the waist, cinching her figure in.
She wore a under garment of the same colour, with neat, white lining around the neck and running down the middle.
The Duchess complemented the summery look with a pair of pristine white gloves.
In-keeping with the whimsical powder-blue and white colour palate, Camilla topped of the look with a stunning white netted hat with feathery detail.
Adding a sense of royal glamour, she accessorised the garden party outfit with a weighty pearl choker and pair of pear earrings.
Set to walk around the grounds meeting hundreds of people, Camilla opted for more toned down footwear, wearing an understated pair of nude, block heels.
Her husband Prince Charles wore an all-grey three piece suit, finished with lavender tie and brolly.
On Camilla’s other side as she emerged from the palace, the Princess Royal also donned a pair of crisp white gloves.
The daughter of the Queen went for a summery yellow gold ensemble, wearing a fitted gold and earthy grey dress and blazer with detailed embellishment around the waist and sleeves.
She marched the look with a gold and grey fascinator with floral and netted detailing.
This isn’t the first time Camilla has stepped out in powder blue, with the summery colour becoming a firm favourite for the Duchess of Cornwall’s social occasions.
Meeting with volunteers working with children in Gloucester, the mother-of-two worse a pale-blue, fitted skirt suit.
Just days after the Royal Wedding between her step son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Camilla Parker Bowles was already back to her royal duties.
Carrying out her role as Patron of Beanstalk, the Duchess of Cornwall met reading volunteers, but not all eyes were on the books.
Camilla looked radiant, contrasting with the grey skies in a elegant powder-blue blazer with matching knee-length skirt, accentuating her tanned skin.
