Ivanka Trump, 36, joined Olympic and Paralympic athletes yesterday in Washington to celebrate their achievements.
The Team USA Awards ceremony paid tribute to them and their achievements at the Olympics.
She missed the fashion mark in the monochrome lace dress, which swamped her petite figure.
The first daughter’s dress featured lace panels and ruffles across the body, with cut out panels.
It’s long sleeves and long skirt length hid her trim shape.
Ivanka added black court shoes with a buckle to the look, keeping it simple.
The outfit was finished with her blonde hair styled into loose waves and delicate silver earrings.
She went for a heavy eye and lipgloss look with her make up.
During the event. Ivanka tweeted: “Excited to celebrate our amazing athletes tonight at the #TeamUSA Awards. @TeamUSA inspires us all – they embody the talent, drive, and spirit of America.”
She later tweeted images of herself with a number of the athletes: “It was an honor to join more than 200 Olympians tonight at the @TeamUSA Awards. Congratulations to our amazing athletes! #TeamUSA”
Donald Trump’s daughter also led the delegation at the Winter Olympics closing ceremony at the request of her father.
It prompted a backlash after many were critical of her position there on behalf of the First Family.
Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy previously questioned her authority at the event, and is also one of the athletes who are thought to be boycotting the White House visit later this year.
He told USA Today in September 2017 that he had “no interest in going”.
Yesterday he tweeted: “All US Olympians and Paralympians are invited to visit the White House and meet the President after the Games.
“Today is this year’s visit and USOC spokesperson says he’s never seen so many athletes turn down their invites. The resistance is real.”
The 36-year-old went for another ruffled affair earlier this week at the first state dinner at the White House.
Her £10,000 dress by US designer Rodarte, featured pink polka dots and a floral waist embellishment.
Ruffled shoulders and a ruffled skirt accentuated the feminine look, as she added a bold red lip in contrast.
Other celebrities to have worn the dress include Kirsten Dunst and Millie Bobby Brown.
She met with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron who visited the US on a three-day visit.
