The recently married former-actress retained her bridal glow at the event.
Meghan smiled at the cameras as she looked directly at photographers.
She wore a black and white hat and a white coat with floral brocade detail.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will later present the winning trophy for the St James’ Palace Stakes.
Harry seemed to stare in awe at his new bride as she smiled and waved at the crowds in a friendly manner.
Meghan was wearing Givenchy again.
She wore the designer for her wedding and her recent outing with the Queen.
The black and white hat was from Philip Treacy hat.
Meghan also smiled laughed with Sophie Countess of Wessex.
Meghan Markle is attending the day, although it is thought Kate Middleton will not be at Ascot.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams previosuly told Express.co.uk: “There is a strong possibility that Harry and Meghan will attend.
“William and Kate’s first engagement after their wedding was the Epsom Derby though they did not attend Royal Ascot together until 2016.”
Prince Harry often attends the opening day of the races, which kicks off today, and has previously travelled in a carriage with his grandparents, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
As Kate is technically on maternity leave after the birth of Prince Louis, it is unclear as to whether or not the Duchess will make this year’s event.
Meghan had a smile on her face despite more family drama.

Today Emily Andrews, royal correspondent for The Sun, said: “It was definitely a surprise to Meghan Markle because she didn’t know her father was talking to you.”
However, she speculated daily life will go on in the same way for Meghan and Harry despite the interview.
“For Meghan and Harry I think it will be business as usual,” she said.
