Melania Trump, 48, has been lying low recently recovering from a kidney operation.
The wife of US President Donald Trump, 72, the First Lady faced scrutiny from the public as to her whereabout and why she was taking so much time out of the public eye.
Unable to fly due to her recent health concerns, Melania didn’t attend the G7 Summit in Canada, or accompany Donald to his meeting with Kim Jong-un in Singapore.
Instead of joining her husband it is believed Melania stayed at home in Washington DC, where she attended an event celebrating the life of President Lincoln at Fords Centre.
However, it has been confirmed that Melania will join her husband for his upcoming trip to London, and is even set to meet the Queen.
The two are set to touch down in London on the 13th July, being Trump’s first presidential visit to the UK.
During their stay, Melania and her husband will even travel to Windsor Castle, where they are set to meet with the Queen herself.
It has been reported by the Sun that the couple will be honoured by the British Army’s oldest and most prestigious regiment, the Coldstream Guards, on their arrival at the castle.
It is believed Melania will stay at the US Ambassador’s residence, Winfield House, in Regent’s Park.
This will be Melania’s first trip since undergoing her kidney operation, and she is reported to be “doing really well”.
Taking almost a month off for recovery, rumours were rife as to Melania’s whereabouts.
She was spotted back to work for the first time last week, where she visited the Federal Emergency Management Agency Headquarters.
Wearing a safari inspired dress, the Slovenian-born former model was at the event with her husband to honour Gold Star families.
Trump said his wife had been through a “rough patch but she’s doing great”. He also expressed admiration her, and said: “The people of our country love you. Thank you, honey.”
Despite their show of affection, Melania Trump is still yet to post any birthday message to her husband on social media.
Her silence has caused speculation to reappear, however Donald didn’t post any message to her on her birthday in April.
He did however tweet about his appearance on a television show that day.
Donald Trump turned 72 yesterday, and received many touching birthday messages on social media from his family members, but Melania was not among them.
