Rousey started a feud with Alexa Bliss at Money in the Bank when the latter spoiled her title match just when she was ready to make former RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax tap out to the Armbar.
Bliss took out the UFC legend with a series of shots with the Money in the Bank briefcase she won earlier on in the night and then cashed in her contract to become the new RAW Women’s Champion.
The first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion powerbombed the new title-holder through a table on RAW and also took out her frustrations on RAW General Manager Kurt Angle as well as two referees.
‘Rowdy’s’ shocking outburst landed her on hot water as Angle suspended her for 30 days last Monday night.
However, The Baddest Woman on the Planet is scheduled to compete before the end of her ‘suspension’ at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 7 where she will take on Jax once more.
Bliss will also be involved in the bout as the Special Guest Referee and that is bound to create some tension and controversy.
The match card is of course subject to change but the plan means that Rousey’s ‘suspension’ may be lifted in a few weeks or her scripted ban only counts for televised episodes.
The MSG event promises some unbelievable action as The Undertaker will return to the ring to team up with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman.
The dream team will take on Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin and Elias in a Six-Man Tag Team Match.
New Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler will put the title on the line in a Triple Threat Match against former title-holder Seth Rolling and Finn Balor.
Some of RAW’s biggest superstars like Bobby Lashley, Jinder Mahal, Bobby Roode, Natalya, Bayley as well as RAW Tag Team Champions ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt are also scheduled to appear.
