Royal Ascot 2018 worst dressed: Races see dress code pushed by wild hats and cleavage | Style | Life & Style

Royal Ascot 2018 is underway.

Yesterday saw Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, descend upon the races.

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle at Royal Ascot looked incredibly chic in a monochrome outfit.

However, some suffered some fashion flops at the world famous meet.

Model Lizzie Cundy, 48, did not look her best in a gold and red dress.

She used her cleavage to full advantage but an enormous feather hat overpowered the look.

Another woman wore a hat with an enormous England flag on it in the name of the World Cup.

The hat was completed with a net that was adorned with miniature footballs.

Another woman wore an enormous ballgown that appeared to be covered with golden pretzels.

Another woman wore a hat than resembled an enormous clothes hanger.

Another strange look was a burgundy and blue striped suit, which was very bold.

The trouser suit has horizontal stripes, won with a large top in the save colours which complete obstructed the race attendee’s face.

One young lady wore a queen of hearts themed look.

Her dress had the card printed on it and her fascinator also had an image of the card character.

Yesterday’s Royal Ascot worst dressed was led by Kelly Brook in a bizarre World Cup themed hat.

The 38-year-old from Rochester wore a red dress, one of England’s national colours.

Her hat has a doll dressed up as an England football player on it, holding a trophy.

Royal Ascot is perhaps the most prestigious racing event in the country, attended by the Queen herself.

Kate Middleton made her royal debut at the five-day-long horse racing event in 2016, five years after marrying Prince William and joining the Royal Family.

However, the best dressed at Ascot are always a sight to see.

Yesterday a notable face at the races as ITV’s Charlotte Hawkins.

The newsreader wore a green dress with bracelet-length sleeves and a bow at the waist.

The 50s-inspired look was accentuated with a navy blue cocktail hat and a blue heels.

Kate Garraway was also there, and wore a chic white ensemble with a large hat.
