Arriving in the hot sun by carriage, Camilla was back to her usual pastel-coloured wardrobe palate, in a elegant mint green coat and dress.
This is not the first time the dashing ensemble has been worn by Camila, wearing the exact same dress, coat and hat combination to her husband’s 70th birthday party last month, something daughter-in-law Kate Middleton does often.
Possibly not conducive to the scorching heat, the structured coat came to just below Camilla’s knees, and has long sleeves.
Amounting to even more material on the Duchess in the hot weather, the coat also had tailored lapels that pleated out at her waist.
Adding a summery touch to the coat, white floral embroidery ran down along each of Camilla’s lapels, and also on the lower half of each arm.
The coat was held together by a few simple hook and eye clasps, making it flow int he wind and have move movement.
Underneath, she wore a matching mint green dress also to the knee, with the same white floral embroidery near the neckline, peeking out from beneath the coat.
Chasing not to just recycle the dress but also the hat, Camilla wore the same white, wide-brimmed floral hat she wore to Charles’ 70th.
The simple yet stunning hat was set at a jaunty angle, with a large floral embellishment on the left hand side, matching her embroidered lapels and sleeves.
Never without her signature pearl jewellery the mother-of-two wore her beloved stacked pearl necklace, held together by a sliver brooch-like piece.
She matched her well-worn peal necklace with a similar pair of pearl drop-down earrings, both worn by Camilla at the first day of Royal Ascot, yesterday.
On her feet Camilla wore a pair of simple nude mid-heel court shoes, and of of course, despite the weather, a pair of nude tights.
She wore her blonde locks in her signature bouncy blow-dry with a slight smokey eye and pink lip.
A she arrived in the carriage she wore a pair of white gloves on her hands, but was later spotted walking the grounds of Ascot without the gloves on.
This is the Duchess’ second day at Royal Ascot, Britain’s most valuable and prestigious horse racing meet.
The two are reported to be close, after they were spotted holding hands at Charles’ 70th birthday garden party at Buckingham Palace in May.
It was at Charles’ birthday that Camilla wore the mint green coat dress and white hat combination.
She even wore the same nude clutch bag as she did at Charles’ birthday to Royal Ascot today.
