The Florida Department of Health reported 13,871 new COVID-19 cases and 137 newly verified deaths Wednesday.
The cumulative number of Florida cases is now 1,306,123 and the reported death toll for state residents since the pandemic began is 21,546.
The number of Florida residents hospitalized with COVID-19 is 62,508 since the pandemic began. The Department of Health notes the total figure is cumulative and does not reflect the number of COVID-19 patients currently in hospitals.
