The Florida Department of Health on Saturday reported 124 new cases of COVID-19 in Lee County and three additional deaths.    

Lee County’s cumulative number of cases is 58,653, and the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 stands at 889.

Yesterday’s numbers: State reports three additional deaths, 164 new cases in Lee County

According to the state Department of Health, 2,066 people in Lee County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since the agency started collecting data, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.   

The health department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19
