The Florida Department of Health on Saturday reported 232 new cases of COVID-19 in Lee County and one additional death on Saturday.

Lee County’s cumulative number of cases is 67,920, and the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 is 954.

Yesterday’s numbers: COVID-19 in Lee County: State reports 20 new cases, four additional deaths

According to the state Department of Health, 2,216 people in Lee County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since the agency started collecting data, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.   

The health department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
