COVID-19 in Lee County: State reports 87 new cases, no additional deaths

Lee County Department of Health and Lee County urge residents to get flu shot amid pandemic

They also unveiled several new vehicles that can be used as mobile testing sites for COVID-19, flu, immunizations and more. The idea is to get to the public.

The Florida Department of Health on Monday reported 87 new cases of COVID-19 in Lee County and no additional deaths.     

Lee’s total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 stands at 531. The new cases increased the county’s cumulative number of cases to 24,929.

According to the state Department of Health, 1,616 people in Lee County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since DOH started collecting data, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.

The Health Department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
