The Florida Department of Health reported 169 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths in Lee County on Sunday.         

Lee County’s total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 remained at 900. The new COVID-19 cases increased Lee County’s cumulative total to 59,834.   

According to the state Department of Health, a total of 2,142 people in Lee County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Saturday, but that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital.       

The Florida Department of Health is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
