COVID-19 tracker: State reports 347 new cases, one additional death in Lee County

The Florida Department of Health reported 347 new COVID-19 cases and one additional deaths in Lee County Tuesday.

Lee County’s cumulative total of COVID-19 fatalities stayed at 653.

The newly added cases pushed Lee’s total to 39,679.

According to the state Department of Health, a total of 1,929 people in Lee County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Tuesday. However, that number does not reflect people currently in the hospital, according to the state.

The health department is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19
