Edison Bridge north is closed because of flooding for the time being, according to Fort Myers Police Public Information Officer Kristin Capuzzi.

Traffic will be shut down at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Evans Avenue, closing the bridge.

Westbound traffic heading downtown will be diverted at Cranford Avenue north. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the Caloosahatchee is an alternate route, Capuzzi said.
