Fort Myers police are looking for information on the theft of thousands of dollars of cigarettes and alcohol from a 7-Eleven that happened while the store clerk was passed out in a bathroom.

The February grand theft heist of multiple cases of beer and cartons of cigarettes was captured multiple times on surveillance cameras between 1:20 and 3:20 a.m. at the Colonial Boulevard store.

Fort Myers police are looking for more information on suspects who may have had a hand in the theft of thousands of dollars of cigarettes and alcohol from a Colonial Boulevard 7/Eleven in February that happened while the store clerk was passed out in a bathroom.

“This resulted in the business losing approximately $15,000,” a police report said. “The employee is no longer employed at the business. All attempts to contact the store employee and any other witnesses have been exhausted.”

Photos taken from the surveillance footage shows several suspects who helped themselves to the missing goods.
