Meghan Markle looked stunning last night at the Royal Academy of Arts.
The Duchess of Sussex, officially opened the Oceania exhibition, which brings together works of art from across the world that celebrate the region of Oceania.
The event was her first solo engagement following her wedding to Prince Harry, 34, in May without another member of the Royal Family in attendance.
It comes a few weeks ahead of her tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga next month.
The 37-year-old Duchess, turned to her wedding dress designer Givenchy for the special occasion.
She wore a black, below-the-knee dress, with sheer sleeves and a contemporary velvet panel on the front which retails for £2,200.
The Duchess wore her straight hair down and carried a small clutch bag on the night.
She teamed the look with her favourite pair of black sling-back high heels from Aquazzura.
