Melania Trump news: Insider reveals how Donald’ wife reacted to cheating allegations

Melania Trump and Donald Trump married in 2005 in a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach.

Then a billionaire and business magnate, few would have predicted the New Yorker would be elected President of the United States.

Since his election in November 2016, Donald has been accused of having a number of extra marital affairs.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels claimed she had an affair with Donald in 2006.

This prompted Playboy model Karen McDougal to also claim she had a relationship with Trump while he was married to Melania.

Donald Trump has always denied any claims the two women made.

Now in his book ‘Team of Vipers’, Cliff Sims – a former White House communications aide – has discussed how Melania reacted to the claims.

He said: “As with every marriage, they had their good days and bad days, often centering around times when accusations of past infidelity were in the news.”

“But from what I saw she never wavered in her support, and she was serious about her official role as first Lady and her self-appointed role as her husband’s fiercest protector.”

In his book, realised earlier this week, Sims said: “I know there are many outside the White House who have become invested in the mythology, often backed by anonymous sources, that Melania secretly hated her husband, or was planning to divorce him, or had some business arrangements that kept them together.”

Donald Trump has been critical of the book and claims that Sims was not close to him.

The President tweeted: “A low level staffer that I hardly knew named Cliff Sims wrote yet another boring book based on made up stories and fiction.

“He pretended to be an insider when in fact he was nothing more than a gofer.”

Where is Melania Trump at the moment?

The US government shutdown was recently lifted.

The partial shutdown lasted 35 days, following a divide over funding for Donald Trump’s proposed border wall with Mexico.

Days ago, Melania took to Instagram to tell her 2.7 million Instagram her plans for the impending future.

It’s unclear what her next actions will be, however she seems to be set to continue her work in public for her Be Best campaign.

She wrote on Instagram: “Our work in the East wing continues into 2019 with online safety, fighting opioid abuse & supporting the well-being of children everywhere! #BeBest.”
