The British megastar’s career came to a premature end at the age of 25 after suffering a devastating stinger during a live event last year.
The ex-Divas Champion was then appointed as SmackDown General Manager but was removed recently after the McMahon family took over both brands to deal with falling ratings.
Since then the 26-year-old fan-favourite has been promoting the upcoming movie Fighting With My Family which is about her legendary wrestling family as well as her rise to WWE superstardom.
According to PWInsider, Paige will return to WWE for RAW and SmackDown probably to further promote the film’s theatrical release.
The comedy drama premieres this weekend in New York as well as Los Angeles and will then be released in the rest of the United States on February 14.
The movie, which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival last week, won’t hit UK cinemas until February 27.
It is produced by WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and directed by Stephen Merchant.
Florence Pugh plays the role of Paige and co-stars with Johnson, Vince Vaughn, Nick Frost and more.
Paige recently revealed that she would like to return to WWE TV as a ringside manager.
The former NXT star is no stranger to that character as she carried it out during her brief alliance with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville at Absolution.
She said: “At this point I don’t know.
“I’d love to be a manager for somebody.
“I don’t know who, but that’s something I’d love to do so I’ll put that out there in the universe.
“I just want to be part of the company.
“I love this company and I love to talk a lot so give me a microphone and I’ll give it a good old-fashioned try.
“I loved being General Manager and it was a surprise to me (to stop that) but WWE evolves all the time and you have to evolve and deal with it.”
