Based near Sky’s London HQ, pupils will have exclusive access to the broadcaster’s facilities.
Sky employees will run coding classes and sports and witness events.
This school year pupils will be treated to a talk from John Lee, the chief model maker for the Star Wars films.
“This school will make a real difference in our local area.
Its successful opening is testament to the passion of local primary and secondary school headteachers, Sky’s employees and Hounslow Council, who have worked together to get this important project off the ground,” Sky chief operating and financial officer Andrew Griffith said.
Bolder headteacher Heidi Swidenbank said: “The partnership at Bolder is sustainable and innovative and working closely with Sky will make an enormous and meaningful impact on the early development of children of all ages and backgrounds in Hounslow.”
