A Port Charlotte driver suffering a medical emergency died Thursday in a crash on Interstate 75 in Charlotte County that involved a Cape Coral man.
Florida Highway Patrol reported that the 72-year-old Port Charlotte man was driving his motorhome north near Mile Marker 161 when he suffered a medical emergency, entering the right emergency lane.

He struck a legally parked vehicle, driven by a 50-year-old Cape Coral man, about 11:15 a.m. Thursday.
The Cape Coral man and a passenger in the motorhome, a 72-year-old woman, were not injured.
Troopers did not name those involved in the crash.
