Princess Eugenie, 28, is tying the knot with Jack Brooksbank on October 12.
The couple is marrying in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, the same location as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In the midst of all her last-minute preparations, Eugenie took the time to post a touching tribute to her maid of honour.
Posting a photo of Princess Beatrice to her Instagram page, Eugenie revealed something special about her elder sister.
The post paid tribute to the charity work that Beatrice does, particularly with children.
Eugenie’s touching message read: “Beatrice and friend @holly_branson set up @bigchangecharity to help future generations thrive.
“Beatrice visited The Difference and I’m proud to show you what she experienced in her words.”
Writing what Beatrice had said, Eugenie posted: “Just as Teach First attracted a talented cohort of great teachers to inner-city schools and Frontline has had incredible success recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in the world of social work and beyond.
“I believe that in The Difference Kiran Gill, and her team, has developed a programme that will develop specialist leaders to work with our most vulnerable students.
“The number of exclusions in the UK continues to rise year on year – at an alarming rate.
“Thousands of pupils are getting lost in a system that is not equipped to identify issues early enough to mitigate the extreme action of exclusion.
“Some of children we met at Hawkswood were as young as six years old and have already been excluded from mainstream education, often due to mental health issues, unsafe and stressful home lives or learning difficulties for which they should instead be supported.
“It was incredible to see them thrive in an environment where their teachers had undertaken specialist training, both at the primary centre and the secondary centre Burnside, Waltham Forest.
“The Difference believe that recruiting the best teachers to work with these vulnerable children, and increasing specialised knowledge among the whole teaching workforce, is key to rewriting the story of worsening exclusion and poor outcomes for excluded pupils.”
Princess Beatrice is expected to be maid of honour at Eugenie’s upcoming nuptials, with the two sisters being very close.
The wedding will be a big and costly affair, with the celebrations spanning the entire weekend.
After the wedding, which will see more than 850 guests and 1,200 members of the public descend on the castle, there is reported to be a two-day afterparty.
Following the wedding, the couple, along with their hundreds of guests will head over to the Royal Lodge, for two days of festivities.
As ninth in line to the throne, Eugenie is believed to feel that she “deserves her moment in the spotlight and a big royal wedding with all the frills,” according to a Daily Mail source.
And the princess has certainly acted on that, planning two days of partying following her wedding on October 12.
