The SAG Awards returned to Los Angeles on Sunday night, with Lady Gaga, 32, Emily Blunt, 35, and Margot Robbie, 28, leading the way in show-stopping gowns. While some stars’ outfits, including Alison Brie’s bow-themed ensemble, failed to steal the spotlight, others followed a similar theme. Silver metallics, vibrant reds, and baby pinks were a popular choice amongst the stars, with Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Shangela Laquifa Wadley wowing in a ruffled ombre pink gown. Ruffles and pleats were also a recurring style, with Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan arriving in a bespoke Oscar de la Renta dress, while Amy Adams rocked a peplum style number.
Amy’s dress divided opinion, but Catherine Zeta Jones’, 49, gown had everyone talking.
Catherine arrived alongside her husband Michael Douglas, 74, and he let his wife take centre stage as the photographers rushed to take photos of the actress’ plunging gown.
The star’s navy lace outfit also featured a sexy thigh split and a long elegant train.
While many actresses chose simple ensembles to highlight their fabulous figures, others rocked structured gowns with pleats and shaping.
