Water main break closes Lee County Administration Building for the day

A water main break has shut down the Lee County Administration Building in downtown Fort Myers. 

Employees are being evacuated from the building located at 2115 Second Street, according to a news release. The building houses the procurement office, the county manager’s office and the county attorney’s office. Some offices of the Clerk of Court are also in the building. 

The offices are closed until further notice. Lee County’s facilities management staff is addressing the issue, the news release said.
