West Ham vs Man Utd LIVE: Team news confirmed; Pogba and Martial START, Sanchez OUT | Football | Sport

West Ham vs Manchester United: Express Sport brings you LIVE Premier League coverage from the London Stadium

11:50: The entirety of east London no doubt breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of Marko Arnautovic’s name on today’s teamsheet.

The Austrian has been the shining light of West Ham’s season so far.

And Pellegrini believes he is just getting started at the London Stadium.

“Marko worked with the squad for the last three days of the week so I think he is 100 per cent fit for tomorrow,” said the West Ham boss.

“Marko at the moment has not yet reached what he is able to do for different reasons, because he has a special personality, but this year I see him working hard.

“I didn’t work with him before but he is conscious at this moment that he can be more and I am confident he can be more.”

11:30: Not every fan is happy with Mourinho’s selection.

One fan tweeted: “Baffling team selection once again. Sanchez doesnt even make the bench. Either gonna work amazingly well or fail miserably, leaning towards the latter at present.

While one supporter savagely said: “Another shocking line up. This week he likes Martial? Next week will probs hate him!

11:30: The teams are here! Jose makes some changes. Martial and McTominay certainly not expected!

Alexis Sanchez dropped… Injured or performance related?

MUFC: De Gea, Young (C), Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Fellaini, Matic, McTominay, Pogba, Martial, Lukaku.

Subs: Grant, Bailly, Mata, Rashford, Fred, Herrera, Darmian.

WHUFC: Fabianski, Zabaleta, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku, Rice, Noble (C), Obiang, Yarmolenko, Arnautovic, Anderson.

Subs: Adrian, Ogbonna, Fredericks, Perez, Antonio, Diangana.

11:20: As for West Ham, it’s been a mixed start to the campaign for Manchester City’s former ‘Charming Man’ Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers lost their first four Premier League games before beating Everton away from home earlier this month to ease some pressure on the Chilean.

Pellegrini’s side also managed to stick eight past Macclesfield on Wednesday… but David De Gea will probably be a tougher opponent than Kieran O’Hara this afternoon. (No offence, Kieran!)

11:20 Team news will be out shortly but Mourinho has already announced that new arch-enemy Paul Pogba WILL start in London this afternoon.

The pair were seen arguing in training this week but the Frenchman will keep his place as questions continue surrounding his future.

“Tomorrow he plays. He is a player like the others,” he said.

“No player is bigger than the club.

“If I am happy with his work he plays, if I am not he doesn’t play.

“I am really happy with his work this week. He trained really well.

“The team needs good players. He is a good player.”

Good morning

11.20: Good morning and welcome to Express Sport’s coverage of West Ham vs Manchester United.

Has anything of interest been happening at Old Trafford this week?

Well the Red Devils travel to the London Stadium needing to bounce back after a disappointing draw with Wolves last weekend.

But as usual with Jose Mourinho’s sides, there has been some off the field antics this week… as you may have noticed!
