WATCH: Miami commit Malik Curtis scores three touchdowns en route to 42-0 win over Lely

The Vikings were dominant all night, limiting the Trojans to 138 yards of offense. Jacob Azizi completed 17-of-23 passes for 257 yards and five TDs.

The News-Press and Naples Daily News rank the Top 10 teams in Collier and Lee counties and LaBelle each week. The power rankings are based on record, strength of schedule, and head-to-head matchups for the area’s 32 squads.

Here are The News-Press/Naples Daily News Week 10 power rankings:

1. Palmetto Ridge (6-0): It was business as usual with a 42-14 win over Gulf Coast last week. A win over a talented Bishop Verot team would solidify the Bears’ top ranking they’ve held onto since shutting out Naples to open the season.

2. North Fort Myers (7-0): The Red Knights, who are outscoring opponents 263-31 this season, had no problem with Island Coast last week. Cypress Lake stands between coach Dwayne Mack’s team and the fourth undefeated regular season in school history.

3. Naples (5-1): As of right now, the Golden Eagles, which had last week’s game with Golden Gate canceled, will have another bye week before hosting North Fort Myers in a play-in game.

4. Fort Myers (5-2): The Greenies handled Ida Baker despite a few red zone miscues that could have put the game away earlier. They face Riverdale in a regular-season finale.

5. Bishop Verot (6-3): The Vikings offense is clicking at the right time. Next week’s game at Palmetto Ridge has the potential to be a classic.

6. Lehigh (4-3): The Lightning are still the Beasts of the East. They end their regular season with another rivalry game against Dunbar.

7. Dunbar (4-2): The Tigers will look to rebound from a 13-12 loss to South Fort Myers against Lehigh.

8. First Baptist (6-1): A 42-7 win over previously undefeated Community School is a good resume builder. A regular-season finale against Orlando West Oaks Academy awaits.

9. Cypress Lake (4-2): It was deja vu as the Panthers blew out DeSoto for the second straight year. They get their shot at North Fort Myers this week.

10. Ida Baker (4-3): The Bulldogs stand pat here thanks to playing Fort Myers tough and a head-to-head win over South Fort Myers. Now, they get two weeks to prepare for a play-in game against Lely.
